Journey to Our Support Groups

KTJ Support Groups

At Know Thyself Journey Spiritual and Mental Wellness, we are dedicated to fostering a community of healing, growth, and empowerment. Our carefully curated small-group support sessions (limited to ten participants) provide a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking guidance in various areas, including sobriety support, grief processing, trauma healing, reintegration after incarceration, deep philosophical discussions, and spiritual exploration.

How Our Groups Work

To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, we have implemented the following scheduling policies:

  • Pre-Registration & Payment Required: All group sessions must be booked in advance, with full payment required at the time of registration.

  • Limited Spots Available: Each group is capped at seven participants to maintain an intimate and effective setting.

  • Waitlist Option: If a session is full, you can join our waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Reminder Notifications: Registered participants will receive email and text reminders about the session 48 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Cancellation Policy: To ensure fairness, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the session to receive a refund or reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours will not be refunded.

  • Minimum Attendance Requirement: A minimum of four participants is required to conduct a group session. If fewer than four people register, the session will be postponed or canceled. In such cases, registered participants may choose to apply their payment to a future session or receive a full refund.

Active Support Groups

1. Sober Support 
Join our Sober Support group to find strength and solidarity in your journey towards sobriety. Connect with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of overcoming addiction. Together, we will share experiences, strategies, and encouragement to maintain a sober lifestyle.
   
2. Grief Support
Grieving a loss can be a profound and isolating experience. Our Grief Support group provides a compassionate space to process your emotions, share memories, and find solace in the company of others who are navigating similar journeys. We offer a supportive environment to honor your loved ones and heal together.

3. Victims of Violence
Description: Our Victims of Violence support group is a safe haven for individuals who have experienced physical, emotional, or psychological trauma. We focus on empowerment, healing, and reclaiming your sense of self. Through shared stories and collective support, we aim to build resilience and foster recovery.

4. Newly Released from Incarceration
Transitioning back into society after incarceration can be challenging. Our support group for the Newly Released from Incarceration provides guidance, resources, and a supportive network to help you navigate this new chapter. We focus on building a positive future, developing life skills, and fostering connections within the community.

5. Philosophical Conversation 
Engage in thought-provoking discussions in our Philosophical Conversation group. This space is for individuals who enjoy exploring life's big questions and delving into philosophical topics. Whether you're a seasoned thinker or new to philosophical inquiry, this group offers enriching conversations and diverse perspectives.

6. Introspective Interfaith
Explore spiritual questions and deepen your understanding of the divine by exploring the faith journey in the discovery of a profound relationship with God. This group is open to individuals of all faiths and beliefs, providing a space for respectful dialogue and personal exploration. Together, we seek to understand different perspectives and strengthen our spiritual journeys.

We offer flexible session plans to accommodate your needs and schedule.

Choose from our 6-session, 10-session, or 14-session plans:

6 Sessions: Ideal for individuals seeking short-term support and quick insights. This plan provides a focused approach to address immediate concerns and start your journey of healing and growth.


10 Sessions: Our most popular option, the 10-session plan, offers a balanced approach to support. It allows for deeper exploration of issues and the development of lasting strategies for well-being.


14 Sessions: For those who wish to engage in a comprehensive and transformative experience, our 14-session plan provides extensive support and the opportunity to delve deeply into your personal journey.
